Who reads your message

Toolsila is an independent project run by Praveen, a software developer based in India who builds the tools and edits the guides. There is no outsourced support desk: every message sent through the form or to support@toolsila.com is read by him directly. Messages are answered in order, usually within two business days. Bug reports and corrections that affect a live tool or a published claim are handled first.

What you can contact us about

• Bug reports. A tool fails, freezes, gives an unexpected result, or rejects a file it should accept.
• Corrections. A guide or tool page states something that is wrong, out of date, or missing an important caveat. Corrected pages show an updated review date.
• Suggestions. A focused improvement to an existing tool, or an image task you would like a future tool to cover.
• Privacy questions. How the site handles analytics, cookies, advertising, or contact-form data. The privacy policy covers the details.
• General questions. Anything else about using Toolsila or its published guides.

How to write a useful bug report

Because Toolsila's image tools run in your browser, problems often depend on the device. A short report with these details can usually be reproduced and fixed much faster:

1. The tool and page URL you were using.
2. Your browser and version, and whether you were on a phone or a computer.
3. The file type, approximate file size, and pixel dimensions.
4. What you expected to happen and what happened instead, including any message shown.

You do not need to send the image itself. Toolsila does not receive the files you process, so it cannot look them up. If an image is the only way to show the problem, share one that contains nothing private.
