Useful tools, without the upload

Work with images directly in your browser. Choose a tool to see exactly what it accepts, how local processing works, and what result to expect.

Choose by the result you need

Background removal and compression solve different image problems. One changes which pixels are visible; the other changes how the same pixel grid is encoded. Start with the outcome your destination requires, then review the downloaded result rather than relying on a one-click promise.

Choose Background Remover for transparency

Use it when a person, product, pet, or object needs to sit on a new background. It accepts up to 10 JPEG, PNG, or WebP images, runs the segmentation model locally, and exports transparent PNG files. Inspect hair, glass, shadows, gaps, and soft edges over light and dark backdrops before publishing.

Choose Image Compressor for fewer bytes

Use it when an image must fit an upload, email, or page-performance target while retaining its current width and height. Process up to 10 JPEG, PNG, or WebP files with shared settings, then compare the actual byte saving and visible detail. A smaller lossy result is a delivery copy, not a replacement for the master.

When you need both

Remove the background first and keep the transparent PNG as the reusable master. Then make a separate compressed delivery copy if the destination accepts PNG or transparency-capable WebP. Do not choose JPEG unless filling transparent areas with white is intentional. In either workflow, selected files stay in the browser; the background model and site code still need to be downloaded to your device.
