Terms of Service
These terms set the basic rules for using Toolsila’s free tools, guides, and website. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Toolsila provides browser-based utilities, editorial guides, examples, and related website features. Its published tools remove image backgrounds and compress images. The service is provided without an account and may change as features are improved, added, restricted, or removed.
Guides provide general practical information. They are not legal, financial, medical, compliance, or other professional advice. You are responsible for checking the requirements of marketplaces, employers, clients, platforms, regulators, or other destinations relevant to your use.
Acceptable use
You may use Toolsila only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- use the service to violate another person’s rights, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or applicable rules;
- process or distribute material that you do not have the right or permission to use;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, bypass, or interfere with the site, its security, its providers, or other users;
- automate abusive request volumes, distribute malicious code, or use the service for fraud, deception, or unlawful surveillance; or
- misrepresent Toolsila output as verified, certified, or guaranteed when it has not been independently checked.
Your files and rights
You retain whatever rights you already hold in files you choose and outputs you create. Using a tool does not transfer ownership of your source file to Toolsila. You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to process the file and use the result.
Image processing occurs locally in a compatible browser rather than through a Toolsila application-server upload. You remain responsible for your device, backups, source files, downloaded results, and decisions about where those results are later uploaded or shared.
Outputs require review
Tool outputs are generated through software and may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable, or visually flawed. Background removal can lose edges or retain unwanted regions. Compression can reduce visual quality, change metadata, or produce little saving. Browser and device limits can affect availability and results.
Toolsila does not guarantee output accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, legal compliance, acceptance by a third-party platform, or a specific reduction or processing time. Review results before relying on them, and keep an original or suitable backup.
Availability and changes
The service may be unavailable, slow, incompatible, or interrupted. Features, limits, dependencies, URLs, and content may change without a promise of continuous operation or advance notice. Toolsila may suspend access needed to protect users, providers, security, or the service.
Third-party services and links
Toolsila relies on service providers for functions such as static hosting, contact-form delivery, optional analytics, consent management, and advertising. Contact-form messages pass through Cloudflare to Web3Forms. When configured, Google Analytics, Google Privacy & Messaging, and Google AdSense may operate as described in the Privacy Policy. The site may link to external platforms and documentation. Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and technical behavior, which Toolsila does not control.
Toolsila content
The Toolsila name, brand assets, interface, original site text, and other site materials are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. These terms do not grant permission to impersonate Toolsila, remove attribution from licensed examples, or republish substantial site content as your own. Ordinary links to public pages are welcome.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some protections cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing in these terms excludes rights that must apply to you.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Toolsila is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the service, loss of files, reliance on an output or guide, third-party conduct, or service interruption. You are responsible for checking results and maintaining backups. Any limitation applies only as far as the law applicable to you allows.
Updates to these terms
These terms may be revised when the service, providers, risks, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current published version. Continued use after an updated version is published means the updated terms govern later use, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
